PlexiPlaqs offer limitless options for artwork presentation and design.  Installed either Indoor or outdoor, PlexiPlaqs yield numerous options for backlighting and alternative artwork displays.  With a crystal clear smooth surface, acrylic PlexiPlaqs have been used to create unique fine art applications.  
Artwork is mounted on acrylic with straight edges finished in a flame polished or frosted appearance.  Two acrylic thicknesses are available. 

Thin 1/8” acrylic PlexiPlaqs are typically utilized in fine art applications, lightweight signage, or stacked plaqs wherein multiple Plaqs are incorporated into dimensional art.  Thin PlexiPlaqs are available in both clear or black; however, additional custom colors are available including metallic and stone finishes.

Alternately, thicker 3/8” acrylic PlexiPlaqs are typically employed for signage and heavy-duty art presentations.   Thick PlexiPlaqs can have keyholes in the back of the acrylic to mount a piece flush against a wall. 

Hanging systems and presentation methods vary; however, both thick and thin PlexiPlaqs can have a float hanging system.  In this, a simple French cleat system is added to the back of a PlexiPlaq to give it dimension and the appearance of floating off the wall.  Stand offs are commonly used in high traffic areas to additionally protect and secure artwork.  Contact DuraPlaq™ for hanging and mounting inquires.
